After a special request from The House of Commons The Waen Brewery beers are off to to London again for a special St David’s Day lunch showcasing the BEST of Welsh food and drink! Having had casks of their ale in the bars there last year, their bottled beers were in demand this time. Brewster Sue Hayward says ‘We are thrilled to have been asked to supply beer for something that is shouting about the absolute best of Welsh food and drink. It’s great that our bottled beers are as in demand as the cask ales are, outside of Wales.’

A great day at The Llandinam Fun Day. Raft races, Tug O War and lots of other fun stuff! Beer went down really well in the beer tent, and lots of orders for beer festivals, music festivals and parties.
17th June
A lovely evening giving a talk to a fab group of women at Maes Mawr in Caersws. Great to meet you all and thankyou for your lovely response to my presentation (glad you enjoyed the beers too, think the theme should continue at future meetings??!!) Look forward to seeing you all in the near future, and to showing you around the brewery.....
30th May 2009 OPENING DAY
A brilliant day! We had a very busy day with lots of interest and a few hundred bottles sold! The Landmark Waen has now officially sold out in bottles but still available in beer boxes. More being brewed as we speak.
29th May 2009
Our Landmark Waen went off to the beer festival in Hedgerley, a festival of 15 years' standing and 150 different ales. The Landmark Waen went down a storm! We will be supplying that festival again! Next it's off to a beer festival in Lampeter and also we will be sending one to Cardiff, but which one will it be?? Landmark!
Our new ale, The Brewster's Waen, is flying out, despite our official opening not being until tomorrow. The deep, dark luxurious and malty ale is proving as much of a hit as the Landmark Waen. Landmark is now on its second brew, stocks having pretty much gone in bottles, although we have saved some for the 10 and 20 litre polypins for the opening. More available in a few weeks, and now we know how popular it is we will keep well stocked.
The Smallholders Show at The Royal Welsh Showground
What a great success! Our beers went down a storm and we had lots of requests from beer festivals and corporate event management to supply beers. On the first night a quick dash back to the brewery was required for more stock as we sold out. Everyone was great, and the children had a fab time too, even in the tent in the rain! We look forward to busy times ahead with lots of new business generated by our appearance at this wonderful event. Thanks to everyone in green Horizons!
